One thousand years of perfect peace
governed by Christ the King
shall rule all nations of the earth
we know what peace will bring

wars shall cease among the heathen
conflict of every kind
as saints of God shall rule with Christ
to keep the peace divine

now Christ rules with a rod of iron
the earth becomes subdued
no longer shall man practice war
for Satan is removed

the millennial kingdom stands
theocracy regained
the world of man is in order
creation has been tamed
____
people prosper under Christ’s rule
the Righteous One commands
throughout the world the law upholds
where justice finally stands

for God’s glory covers the earth
as the water covers the sea
every creature submits to God
nature abounds in glee

man shall learn that God is sovereign
as judgment falls on sin
that Jesus Christ is Lord and King
of earth and all therein
